I am looking for any records of the LARRABEE family. William & Lucy (MEAD) lived in Portland for many years. Lucy died in 1865, and William moved to Il, IA, and eventually Dunn Co. I cannot find any records of them or their children who settled in the area. I will have to post a seperate query for their children since I do not have that info with me at this time. I believe all Larrabee's in the area are connected and would value any info. It was passed down that William had a brother who came to WI with him and also settled in the area. At this time I do not know his name.

Hi, do you have any information on Johanna (Hannah) Heise or her parents? In the letter you copied for me that you had sent to Jan Schroeder in Onalaska regarding the Gerbig family in Watertown there was some information. I was wondering if you had anything additional, or anything that might connect Johanna to possible siblings: Caroline, Albert, Ernestine, August, Wilhelmina, Friederika or Carl. I have not connected them with certainty, so wonder if you have anything on any of the parents. They may be listed in the St. Johns Lutheran Church information. Thanks for anything you can come up with. Also, I may be able to get to Watertown this week, so maybe you could point me in the right direction even if you don't have time to check this out yourself. Thanks. Marie

Hello

I am researching the URBAN(OWSKI), DRZONEK/ DRONEK, STRASZEWSKI, and KUBACKI families of Westford and Beaver Dam, WI. The families immigrated between 1865 and 1870 and were members of St. Peter's and later St. Michael's Church. The four families intermarried, and all were from Prussian held area of Poland. Some of the family moved to Oshkosh, but members of all four remained in Dodge Co. (Thomas Dronek, John Urban, Vincent Kubacki and his sons John, Frank, and Andrew, and a couple of Straszewski's). I am interested in discovering their village of origin, as it is not listed in the vital or church records, or the obituaries. I suspect they came from the province of Posen, as that was the place of origin of other Polish families affliated with them. Thank you
