Looking for any information you have on William BONES (born 1822) and his brother John BONES (born 1832). Both were born in Ireland, but later moved to Dodge county around 1856 from NY. They both married HOLLAND sisters (Elizabeth Catherine and Martha) in a double wedding on March 4, 1860 in Mayville Wisconsin. Both fought in the Civil War - William was in Co. K, 1st Wisconsin Cavalry & John was in Co. A, 1st Wisconsin Infantry from Burnett, WI. They moved to Minnesota directly after the war.

Any information on them or their parents would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Jesse Dora b. 1871 d. 1880, Agnes A. b. 1874 d. 1956, Samuel H. b. 1879, Nelson b. 1883. I'm curious about the early deaths of Clara and Jesse. I'm looking for information on my GG grandmother Catherine (DAVIS) WASHBURN. All I have is from a Wabasha County, MN history that says Catherine transferred her church membership from the Congregational Church of Waterloo, WI in 1859 to the Congregational Church of Plainview, MN. I also know that Catherine was born in Newtown, Montgomeryshire, Wales on June 3, 1825 and came to New Jersey in 1835 with her family, then went to New York and on to Dodge County where she married James WASHBURN in Portland Township, Dodge County in 1857. Does anyone have information on the Davis's. Supposedly Catherine had two brothers that fought in the Civil War for Wisconsin Units. Was there a regiment that Dodge County men typically joined for the Union Army. Does anyone have any Davis's from Wales that lived in Waterloo at this time? Thanks for your help.
