Brackett married Harriet Blackstone in Watertown on May 20 1849. Ozro owned the
Portland Quarry located ten miles west of Watertown on Plank Road. Harriet died young and Ozro
married Lucy P Stone in the home of her parents Elijah Stone and Sarah Wright
in Baraboo before immigrating to Colorado
