The Dodge/Jefferson Counties
Genealogical Society, Inc. was organized in 1981 under the name of
"Watertown Genealogical Society." To better define its area of
research, the society changed its name and incorporated under the category of
an educational organization in January 1995.
Purpose
The purpose of this Society
is to assist others in learning how to research their family history and to
purchase books, microfilm, microfiche, and other research material of
genealogical value.
