HOLCOMB  CEMETERY

Concord Twp., Jefferson

Updated September of 2010

map

From Hiway 26 in Johnson Creek, go east on CTH B for 7.4 miles.  The "Thayer" cemetery will be on your left.

Across the road up on a hill is the Holcomb Cemetery. It is at least a couple of hundred yards off the road and

there are quite a few trees on the hill.  The cemetery is well kept and this past year (2010) stones which

were buried or slanted and unreadable were righted and flags were placed on the Civil War Veterans

graves in May.

There are more stones uncovered and are now visible and readable.  To go up to the cemetery one must

go to the second road, not the one to the farm driveway #W1819.  There is a driveway running along

the fence line and very visible from the road.
